Rebecca S. McElroy
Rebecca McElroy, of counsel, with Martinec, Winn, Vickers, & McElroy, P.C. has a practice that focuses on issues related to reorganization, debtor/creditors’ rights, insolvency and other bankruptcy issues.
Ms. McElroy received her B.A. in 1973, her M.A. in 1976, and her J.D. in 1981 from Texas Tech University.
Ms. McElroy has been Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1994. Ms. McElroy is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts, Western and Southern Districts, and the United States Courts of Appeal, 5th and 10th Circuits. She is a member of the Travis County Bar and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Ms. McElroy is a former President of the Travis County Bankruptcy Section and is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Ms. McElroy served as Course Director for the12th Annual Consumer Bankruptcy Course sponsored by the State Bar of Texas in 1996 and has been a speaker for the State Bar of Texas and for Texas Tech University and the West Texas Bar Association. Ms. McElroy acted as Co-Coach of the University of Texas Moot Court Bankruptcy Teams for their award winning appearances in the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition in 1999, 2000 and 2001
